Assisted Billing is a web application we were asked to design for a contract based surgical tech firm.  They needed a way to do billing that allows them to bill on a per case basis, tracking the information that is required for positive identification of patients and their cases.

Because of the unique restrictions dealing with medical records, we had to pay special attention to HIPAA regulations and ensure a secure application environment so that different users of the system could not see each others cases.  Additionally, per HIPAA requirements we built an audit log so that record access can be finely tracked to a specific user.
